Spring Baseball and Softball - Positive Coaching not just for coaches

PBSF is excited to announce the return of the Positive Coaching Alliance Seminars. PCA is transforming youth sports so sports can transform youth. 

This year two seminars will be offered to Baseball and Softball parents and coaches, with each session focusing on players of a certain age range.

Tuesday, February 15, 2011 7-9 p.m. Piedmont Middle School,  MPR.

For parents and coaches of players aged 9 and up (Softball's U12/14 and U10 divisions and Baseball's Mustang, Bronco, Pony divisions), this session will focus on positive coaching techniques for coaches, and parents are welcome to attend.

Wednesday, February 23, 2011 7-9 p.m.  Piedmont Middle School,  MPR.

For parents and coaches of players aged 5- 8 (Softball's U8 and U6 and Baseball's Shetland and Pinto), the focus of this session will be on age-appropriate coaching, positive coaching, supportive coaching from the field and the sidelines, as well as keeping the game fun for the children.  Shetland and Pinto Baseball coaches are required to attend, and parents are STRONGLY encouraged to attend.
