Piedmont Asian American Club Celebrates Mid Autumn Moon Festival

Come celebrate the Mid Autumn Moon Festival

Meet Dave Rodriques (a.k.a. The AstroWizard):

  • Using the Science of Magic to teach the Magic of Science
  • Reveal the grandeur, mystery, & drama that is visible overhead every night
  • Be amazed by close-up views of the Moon, planets, double stars, nebulae & distant galaxies as you observe the full moon through large telescopes
  • Lecturer at Morrison Planetarium & Academy pf Sciences
  • Program Director Astronomical Society Chabot Space & Science Center
  • Asteroid 24626 “Astrowizard” was named after him for his contributions to Science & Astronomy Education

All pre-registered children receive a free traditional Chinese lantern. There will also be Arts & Crafts and Moon Cake tasting.
