Piedmont Middle School Site Council Meeting

School Site Council is made up of a group of concerned and interested people including: teachers, classified employees, administrators, students, and parents.  These people work with the Principal to evaluate, write, and renew the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), and organization that looks for continuous improvement in all areas of school life and that State Standards are academically present.

  Site Council members are appointed:

  • by the Principal, such as students who are recommended by patients
  • elected by their peers
  • the Piedmont Parents Club elects the parent representatives.

The Site Council gives teachers, students, administrators and parents a safe platform where discussion around school issues, such as curriculum, is encouraged and welcomed.   Decisions made at these meetings serve the entire school community.
