Diesel, A Bookstore in Oakland is pleased to host the publication party for Joan Lester's new novel, Black, White, Other, on Sunday, September 25th at 3pm. Black, White, Other tells the story of Nina, a biracial teen accustomed to a life of varied hues. When her parents decide to divorce, the rainbow of Nina’s existence is reduced to a much starker reality.
