Restoration: Huckleberry Regional Park

Meet at the main parking lot, where volunteers will pick up tools and water before they fan out to remove cape ivy, French broom and Vinca sprouts.

On hot, sunny days the work will move further into the park to take advantage of shade, and on foggy days you can pull Genista and cut thistles to maintain the knoll where the regional park had Eucalyptus removed several years ago.

As always, dress in long sleeves and pants, but you can e-mail your request for gloves and tools to jmanley@ebparks.org if you do not have them.
