Meet us outside in the sun on the front (lakeside) of Lakeview Branch on the brick path. Chairs will be in the shade, but the action is in the sun! Dr. Hattie Carwell, director of the Museum of African American Technology Science Village, will demonstrate three basic types of solar cookers: the Solar Concentrator, Cookit and Solar Basket.Â
The audience will learn the basic principles of solar cooking and compare the results of the three cookers presented!!! Bring your curiosity and questions!
