Songs for Every Season: A Mother's Day Gift!

With Meli Rivera & students of La Casita Bilingue Montessori performing songs from their three recordings.

This year on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 8th at 7pm, La Peña Cultural Center presents the students of La Casita Bilingue Montessori in Pinole, CA, and singer/songwriter Meli Rivera in the concert “Songs for every season: A Mother's Day Concert!”

Meli Rivera is a former music teacher at La Casita Bilingue Montessori (2006-2008) and with the support of the school to the music program, she was able to record three albums of multicultural Christmas and spring songs with the students, ages 3-6 at the time. Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the school, some of the students and Meli Rivera will perform many of these songs, which will make you experience the four seasons in one evening.
