Firefighters Knock Down Fire at Oakland Residence Sunday

Firefighters knocked down a one-alarm fire at a residence in Oakland Sunday afternoon, according to a fire dispatcher. Fire crews responded to a report of a fire around 4 p.m. in the 4800 block of Ygnacio Avenue, the dispatcher said.

Firefighters were able to knock the fire down within ten minutes, she said. No injuries were reported. No further information was immediately available.
