Child care providers are invited to this free workshop on how to support children with special needs and their families. Join us!
Caring for children who have special needs takes patience, understanding, and love. Every child deserves to be cared for in a way that best supports who they are. This can be hard for providers who are caring for a lot of children at once.
In this UC Davis Extension workshop, we’ll talk about how to:
- Create an accepting environment
- Help families deal with stress
- Connect parents with any services they may need
- Recognize early warning signs of developmental risks
