Grand Opening of New Local Home & Design Store: Mulberry's Home

On October 16th Mulberry’s Home will opened to the public where customers will find a collection of furniture, home accessories and gifts for all occasions that reflect Oakland’s growing identity as the West Coast’s “it” town. Local resident and proprietor, Chad Olcott has been eager to incorporate his love of home décor and design into his professional life; after having successfully opened and run Mulberry’s Market, Olcott’s vision is becoming a reality. Every item is carefully hand selected by Chad, with an emphasis on local offerings as well as those from renowned designers including John Robshaw, Cisco Brother’s Furniture, Noir Furniture, Jaipur Rugs, Made Goods, Arteriors Lighting, Jonathan Adler, Four Hands and many more.

“I’ve always had a love of design and for beautiful things combined with quirky and modern objects that help define a room’s personality,” said Olcott. “We’ve had a wonderfully successful run with Mulberry’s Market. I’m excited to finally make my dream a reality with Mulberry’s Home. I’m looking forward to sharing my inspiration for design, art and unique objects with our friends, neighbors and visitors to the Bay Area.”

Mulberry’s Home opened on Thursday, October 16 at 11:00am. The Grand Opening is continuing into the popular Piedmont Avenue stroll, featuring local art and music, which occurs on the third Thursday of each month.

The Grand Opening during Third Thursday is from 6:00 to 9:00 on October 16.
