Highland Same Day Clinic Expands Hours

Alameda Health System is expanding the hours of operation for it’s Highland Wellness Same Day Clinic.

The Same Day Clinic was opened in 2013 to serve the urgent care needs of the AHS community. The clinic has been such a success and so in demand that it has extended its weekday hours and added appointment hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

The clinic is so popular that appointment calendars as usually filled by late morning to early afternoon depending on staffing.

The clinic treats serious non-emergency conditions ranging from ailments such as the flu, fevers, insect bites, nausea, sprains and strains, minor burns and more.

Appointments are available for scheduling:

Monday through Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am to 4:40 pm
Sunday: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm

The call center (510 437 8500) opens at 6:00 am on Monday through Saturday and at 7:00 am on Sundays to start taking appointments.

The clinic does not treat patients who think they may have a life-threatening emergency and are suffering from serious shortness of breath, chest pain, sudden paralysis of the arms or legs, bleeding, etc.
