Thirteen homes sold last month—eight above the asking price, by 9.15 percent on average. The average selling price was about $1.5 million—right in Piedmont's sweet spot. 

All but one property sold in less than a month, with a median of 12 days on the market. The pace was speedy compared to May, when the median was 29 days.
