Man Fatally Shot Near Knowland Park Identified
The shooting happened on Monday morning.
A man who was fatally shot near Knowland Park in the Oakland hills Monday morning has been identified by police as 21-year-old Marcus N. West Jr. of Oakland. Police said West was shot around 7 a.m. Monday in the 4700 block of Scotia Avenue, near Golf Links Road, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made in the shooting and police haven’t disclosed a motive for it.
