
OAKLAND, CA - A Los Gatos man was shot and killed in East Oakland on Tuesday night, police said. Police responded to reports of gunshots at 10:18 p.m. in the 8900 block of International Boulevard.
Officers found the 28-year-old victim there suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital but died there a short time later, police said.
His name has not been released. Police did not provide a description of a possible suspect or suspects.

Earlier Tuesday, at about 6 p.m., another gunshot victim was taken to a hospital after she was shot in the 7900 block of Ney Street. She is expected to survive her injuries, police said. Police have announced no arrests in that case either.
