Man Shot, Killed in Oakland Last Week Identified

A man shot and killed in East Oakland last Wednesday evening was identified today as Anthony Custard, 27. Custard, who had addresses in both Oakland and Oakley, was found suffering from a gunshot wound near the corner of Plymouth Street and 89th Avenue at 7:49 p.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another man found wounded there was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive. Police have not identified any suspects in the shooting or disclosed a motive.
