Men's Four Qualifies for London Rowing Finals
The men's four won its heat in the semi-finals Thursday, qualifying for medal contention in the finals.
The U.S. men's four, including Piedmonter , won its semi-final heat at Eton Dorney Thursday and moves on to Saturday's rowing finals at the London Olympics, according to official photofinish results posted by US Rowing.
The U.S. team rowed in the second of two heats Thursday, with a time of six minutes, 1.72 seconds. That time placed it third overall in the semi-finals, behind Great Britain (5:58:26) and Australia (5:59.23).
Finals are scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 4, at 10:30 a.m.
