Neiman Marcus Opens Friday at Broadway Plaza
Wednesday morning was media preview day at the new store.
The media came Wednesday morning, oohing and ahhing over the appointments of the Neiman Marcus store at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek, which opens to the public at 10 a.m. Friday.
And, between then and now, there's for four East Bay charities on Thursday evening.
One feature of this new Neiman Marcus, and about a dozen other new ones around the country in recent years, is a butterfly sculpture in the atrium over the escalators. The media tour was led in part by the artist of the butterfly sculpture, Ignaz Gorischek, vice president of store development for Neiman Marcus.
