Oakland Hills Home Seriously Damaged By Fire
The fire Monday evening was seen by residents across a wide stretch of the East Bay.

OAKLAND, CA - Firefighters brought a structure fire in the Oakland hills under control Monday evening with no injuries reported.
The Oakland Fire Department reported via Twitter at 6:09 p.m. that units were at the scene of a working fire in the 3300 block of Rubin Drive, near Holy Names University.
Once on scene they found heavy smoke showing.

The exterior of the building was burning and heavy fire made the structure difficult to access as firefighters searched for victims inside.
The incident was under control by 6:45 p.m.

No injuries were reported, according to a fire dispatcher.
