Oakland Lights Up City Hall for Warriors

City Hall glows blue and gold at night in honor of the Warriors.

OAKLAND, CA - The City of Oakland is revving up for the Golden State Warriors as they play in the Western Conference Finals for the second time in two years.

City officials said in addition to the blue and gold lights on the cupola, the building is now illuminated nightly with energy-efficient LED lighting.

"The 24-carat Golden State Warriors light up the court so Oakland is returning the favor and proudly lighting up City Hall in honor of our team's NBA playoffs run," Oakland Mayor Libby Schaff said in a statement.
