Oakland Man Arrested on Suspicion of Stabbing Man During Tenderloin Fight

The victim is expected to survive his injuries, San Francisco a police spokesperson said.

A man suffered a punctured lung and wounds to his arms and back during a stabbing Tuesday afternoon in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood, police said.

At about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, the victim, a man in his 30s, was involved in a physical fight over money with another man near the intersection of Eddy and Mason streets, according to police. The suspect was armed with a knife and stabbed the victim several times, police said.

San Francisco police spokeswoman Office Grace Gatpandan said today that the suspect, identified as 46-year-old Emon Christian Shrivers, of Oakland, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon as well as two outstanding traffic warrants. He was booked into San Francisco County Jail, according to Gatpandan.
