Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred in Oakland this morning. The incident began at 7:27 a.m. in the vicinity of Lakeshore and Lake Park avenues. The crime scene has been cordoned off, according to police.
A spokesperson for the Oakland Police Department was en-route to the scene of the shooting as of 9:35 a.m. Further details about the incident were not immediately available.
