OAKLAND, CA — A man who was shot and killed in East Oakland on Friday night was identified today as a 25-year-old Oakland resident.
DeAndre Williams was shot and killed in the 4500 block of Bancroft Avenue at 9:13 p.m., police said.
Another man was injured in the shooting and taken to a hospital in critical condition. Two other people with them were not wounded by gunfire.

Police have not disclosed any suspect information, including a description of the suspects or a possible motive for the shooting.
