One Wounded in Afternoon Shooting in Oakland
The shooting was reported at 3:32 p.m. in the 1800 block of Filbert Street near 18th Street.
Authorities are investigating a shooting that took place outside a market in Oakland Monday afternoon, according to police. The shooting was reported at 3:32 p.m. in the 1800 block of Filbert Street near 18th Street. When officers arrived on scene, the victim was already en-route to a hospital.
His wounds were not thought to be life threatening, according to police spokeswoman Johnna Watson. As of Monday evening no arrests have been made, Watson said.
