Pedestrian Killed in Oakland Hit-And-Run Friday Identified
Anyone with information about the collision has been asked to call the Oakland police Traffic Investigations Unit at (510) 777-8570.

A woman killed by a hit-and-run driver while walking in East Oakland last Friday night has been identified as 55-year-old Shunli Zhang of Oakland, according to the Alameda County coroner’s bureau.
Zhang was walking in a crosswalk at the corner of 50th Avenue and Foothill Boulevard at 9:46 p.m. when she was hit by a gray Honda heading west on Foothill, according to police. The Honda driver fled after the collision. Zhang was taken to a hospital where she died later that night, police said. Police are still looking for the Honda driver.
