PHS Softball Taken Down Hard in Tournament Play

The Highlander's NCS tournament match-up against Marin Catholic was called early.

After a rain out on Wednesday, Marin Catholic defeated the Piedmont High School softball team 12-2 in the first round of the North Coast Section Division IV tournament at Tamalpais High School Thursday.

The two teams looked to be evenly matched initially, but with errors in the field and not enough bats on balls for Piedmont, the game was called in the fifth inning, concluding the Highlanders' season.
