Piedmont Avenue Library Celebrates Reopening on Saturday

The Piedmont Avenue Branch Library will celebrate its reopening at its new location, 80 Echo Ave., Oakland (behind Piedmont Avenue School) on Saturday.

The program begins at 11 a.m. with family entertainment from Mr. Shap — magic, balloon art and laughs.

At noon, Carmen Martinez, Library Director; Gerry Garzon, Associate Director; and Peg Janosch, Friends of the Piedmont Avenue Branch Library , will deliver remarks and winners of the Piedmont Avenue Merchant Association Halloween raffle will be announced.

Refreshments will be provided.
