ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — East Bay residents are invited to adopt dogs and cats for free during the upcoming "Clear the Shelters Day" on July 23.
The event is hosted by the East County Animal Shelter in Alameda County. Organizers say all cat and dog adoption fees will be waived for qualifying homes. Pets up for adoption can be found here.
