Piedmonters at the Olympics: Rowing Schedule

Two Piedmont residents, Scott Gault and Zach Vlahos, will compete in the 2012 Olympics in London, both in rowing events.

When the 2012 Olympic Games kick off Friday, Piedmont will have its own home town competitors to cheer for. Two Piedmonters will be competing in London, both in rowing.

Scott Gault is a member of the men's four team, competing in his second Olympics. Read more about him in this Piedmont Patch article.

Both men's began their rowing careers with the Oakland Strokes.

The schedule for their events (all times are Pacific Daylight Time):

  • Saturday, July 28, 10:10 a.m., men's eight heats
  • Monday, July 30, 9:50 a.m., men's eight repechage. 10:40 a.m., men's four heats.
  • Tuesday, July 31, 10 a.m., men's four repechage
  • Wednesday, Aug. 1, 10:30 a.m., men's eight final
  • Thursday, Aug. 2, 10:10 a.m., men's four semi-finals
  • Saturday, Aug. 4, 10:30 a.m., men's four final

NBC is offering live streaming video of rowing events, including heats, repechage, semi-finals and finals. You may see the rowing schedule and watch live streaming here.
