For Piedmont residents, there are a wide variety of restaurants in the area that deliver, with prices for a large cheese pizza ranging from $10.99 to more than $20. While prices and quality may differ, these pizza parlors are similar in that most offer staggeringly large menus with huge varieties of common and unique pizzas, as well as pasta, calzones, sandwiches, chicken, salads and desserts.

, Large Cheese Pizza $21.40. One of the testimonials on the back of the Pizza Rustica menu calls their pizza "near perfection." While that may true, at $21.40 for a large cheese pizza, it's the most expensive delivery option in the Piedmont vicinity. Furthermore, delivery is limited to the hours of 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. every day. The Montclair location delivers to Piedmont residents east of Grand Avenue; the Rockridge location delivers to the rest of Piedmont.

, Large Cheese Pizza $16.25. Open since 1981, Cybelle's Pizza Restaurant on Piedmont Avenue takes pride in being family-owned and -operated and for providing healthful meals. The menu notes that only part-skim milk mozzarella cheese is used and one slice of pizza is 292 calories. A large 14" cheese pizza is $15.25 with $1.75 for each additional topping. Delivery is free but there is a $1 fee for the driver. Cybelle's delivers anywhere in Piedmont with minimum orders of $15.

, Large Cheese Pizza $15.75. With the exception of salads, churros and lunch specials, Pizza Pazza focuses on just making pizzas. It calls itself a "gourmet pizza stop" and promises pizzas with light, crispy crusts that are made with organic flour and extra-virgin olive oil. Pizza Pazza delivers to all of Piedmont with minimum orders of $15 and delivery orders are accepted until 45 minutes before closing time. Hours here are from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day, except Friday when the shop closes at 10 p.m. and Sunday, when it's open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

, Large Cheese Pizza $15.25. Like its namesake on Piedmont Avenue, Cybelle's helpfully offers some nutritional information in its menus. Both also offer a huge selection of traditional and unique toppings on their pizzas as well as their own special pizza concoctions. Cybelle's in Montclair has a somewhat smaller menu, though it does offer calzones, salads and garlic bread. The cost of a large cheese pizza here is $15.25 with $1.95 for each additional topping. Delivery starts when the shop opens at 11 a.m. and ends at 10:30 p.m. The shop delivers to anywhere in Piedmont for a $10 minimum.

, Large Cheese Pizza $12.99. Like Hollywood itself, Slice of Hollywood is not modest. It promises that it's the pizza expert and the house of gourmet pizza, with the best pizza and service in the bay. Better yet, they say, delivery is fast and free, and will go anywhere in Piedmont for a minimum of $10. A 14" large cheese pizza delivered from Hollywood is $12.99, though pick-up costs about $3 less. Coupons fetch three medium pizzas with two toppings each for a total of $16.65. Hollywood is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week.

, Large Cheese Pizza $10.99. At $10.99 for a cheese pizza, Dominoes offers perhaps one of the cheapest delivery prices in the area. The chain (with store No. 8276 located on Grand Avenue) may not have the greatest reputation, but it's said to have recently improved the quality of its pizzas. This restaurant will deliver anywhere in Piedmont and orders can even be made online. If online, look for coupons that will fetch two medium, two-topping pizzas for $5.99 each.
