'Raising Resilient Children' May 3 at PMS
The talk by psychologist and author Robert Brooks will benefit the Wellness Center

Psychologist Robert Brooks, Ph.D., co-author of Raising Resilient Children: Fostering Strength, Hope, and Optimism in Your Child, will speak Thursday, May 3, at 7 p.m. in the multi-purpose room of Piedmont Middle School, 740 Magnolia Ave.
A suggested donation of $10 at the door will benefit the Wellness Center. Reservations are strongly suggested; RSVP to Kathy.wheadon@gmail.com.
Dr. Brooks will outline an approach to help children and adolescents deal more effectively with stress and pressure in order to be more resilient. He will provide specific strategies for nurturing self-discipline, responsibility, caring, hope
and resilience in children.
