Registration Open for FallFest 5K Walk/Run

The Piedmont Unified School District Wellness Center and the Piedmont Educational Foundation will sponsor the Second Annual FallFest 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Sept. 29, the day before the city's annual harvest festival.

New this year: team prizes, with first, second and third place for parent/child teams, best costume (minimum of four people) and most people on one team.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Piedmont Unified School District's Wellness Center, which provides counseling services, health education and student leadership opportunities to students in grades 6-12 at Piedmont Middle School, Millennium High School and Piedmont High School.

The walk/run begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Community Center in Piedmont Park, with race day registration starting at 7:30 a.m.

Registration is $30 per adult, $20 per child (age 14 and under) and $50 for a parent-child team through Sept. 13. From Sept 14 through race day, registration is $35 per adult and $25 per child. Team members register individually. Each team must have a captain and a team name.
