VISIT DIPLOMACY'S PAST AT HISTORY DAY CONTEST
Where/When: Oakland Museum of California, 1000 Oak St., Oakland. Saturday, noon-3 p.m. Awards ceremony and concert follow in The Forum at Laney College, 900 Fallon St., Oakland, 3-4:30 p.m.
Why Go: Over 200 hundred students from Alameda and Contra Costa Counties will be presenting their creative projects on this year's theme “Debate and Diplomacy: Successes Failures, Consequences.” Culture Clash's Ricardo Salinas will perform as well. Come see what diplomacy looks like through young eyes.
