Shooting in Oakland Leaves One Man Dead and Another Wounded
At this time there is no suspect information available, according to police.
A shooting in East Oakland Wednesday evening left one man dead and another man wounded, according to police. The incident was first reported at 7:49 p.m. in the vicinity of Plymouth Street and 89th Avenue. Responding officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of them was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was transported to the hospital, according to police. The decedent has not yet been identified, and additional information about the surviving victim was not immediately available.
