Teens Robbed At Gunpoint In Piedmont
There were two street robberies in Piedmont Sunday night, just 10 minutes apart.
PIEDMONT, CA — Three teens walking down the street were robbed at gunpoint in Piedmont Sunday night, according to police. No one was injured. No arrests have been made.
A 15-year-old was robbed about 10 minutes later. In that robbery, no gun was seen.
Both robberies were committed by three suspects who escaped in a white car.

Oakland Police say two similar incidents happened near Lake Merritt shortly before the Piedmont robberies.
The first Piedmont robbery happened around 9:10 p.m. on Bonita Avenue. The suspects got away with smartphones, cash and backpacks. The suspects were all wearing hooded sweatshirts, which were pulled down to their faces.

The second Piedmont robbery was in the area of Seaview Avenue. The suspects grabbed his backpack. The victim described one of the suspects as a black male wearing all black clothing and the other suspects as unknown race males also wearing dark clothing.
In all of the robberies, the suspects ran up on the victims from behind.
