Administrators and teachers honored Brooke Zimmerman with a speeches and a little song and dance before a packed house at the Community Hall Thursday, Oct. 20.
Zimmerman made a notable impact on the children, parents, and the community at large during her 20 years of service as a teacher, counselor, administrator, and mentor in Piedmont. The Wellness Center she helped set up to provide counseling services, peer leadership, and health education for Piedmont High, Millenium High and Piedmont Middle school students will be her lasting legacy.
