'Tis the Season for Piedmont High Basketball

It's basketball season at Piedmont High School, with a home game Tuesday for the men's varsity, the men's annual holiday tournament starting this week and the women's varsity readying for conference play that begins in January.

The men's varsity takes on Cloverdale High School tomorrow at 7 p.m. at PHS. Admission is $5. 

On Thursday, they kick off the annual three-day holiday basketball tournment at PHS, starting at 3:30 p.m. in Rawlings Gymnasium. PHS faces Gateway High School at 8 p.m.

The women's varsity, meanwhile, is preparing for its first conference game on Jan. 4 in Alameda. After two more away games, they will play at home at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11 ($7 admission), with a junior varsity game at 5:30 p.m.
