Tonight is Art Walk on Piedmont Avenue
Each third Thursday of the month merchants roll out the red carpet to the public. Tonight as part of the festivities, a special tasting event is happening at Wine on Piedmont.
Tonight, April 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. Wine on Piedmont, 4183 Piedmont Ave., will host a Donkey & Goat Spring Release Wine Tasting. According to event sponsors, Berkeley's Donkey and Goat Winery has been producing outstanding Rhone-style wines for several years and this spring's releases are their best line-up yet.
The public is invited to join owners Tracey and Jared Brandt for this tasting. If you wish to attend the event, which costs $5 per person, you should call 510-595-9463 to make a reservation in advance.
The tasting event coincides with the which features displays of art and live music at various venues. The free Art Walk is sponsored by the Piedmont Avenue Merchants Association.

At Piedmont Avenue’s Art Walk you can see art on display, enjoy entertainment and sample refreshments as participating businesses showcase hand-picked local artists and designers. Stores remain open from 6 to 9 p.m. on each Art Walk evening.
Organizers say parking is plentiful and free throughout the area after 6 p.m.
