Town Car to Oakland Airport Costs $40 to $113

A Lincoln Town Car or limousine can be a luxurious and convenient way to get to the airport, whether it's for business travel or a vacation. Local limousine companies offer rides from Piedmont to the Oakland International Airport, usually in a Lincoln Town Car, starting at about $40 plus gratuity and going as high as $113.

Benicia-based Bridges Limousine offers transport from Piedmont to the Oakland Airport in a Lincoln Town Car for $99. It’s $119 to the San Francisco or San Jose International airport. An SUV or stretch limousine is costs $119 and a seven to nine-passenger limousine is $139.

A wine country tour specialist for Bridges, who identified himself only as James, said most limo companies are either small owner-operated businesses or large companies with a big fleet of vehicles. Bridges Limousine, he said, is somewhere in the middle. He recommended that potential customers check online reviews before hiring a car service. 

At Premiere Limousine Service, a national company with a local office in Hayward, the cost for a ride from Piedmont to the Oakland Airport in a sedan is $113.40, which includes all taxes, gratuity and airport fees. (It's about $210 in an SUV.)  From Piedmont to SFO, it’s $140.75. 

Denise Carrera, sales and marketing director, recommended that consumers check information about insurance and licenses for specific limousine companies on the California Public Utilities Commission website. She said Premiere carries a $1.5 million insurance policy and provides transportation for the Golden State Warriors basketball team.

Other Bay Area limousine companies charge less. Allways Transportation, a 20-year-old company that operates 24 hours a day, provides a ride from Piedmont to the Oakland Airport in a sedan for $65 or a in six-seat limousine for $95, said office manager Rachel Brownell.

Pamer Limousine Services, 510-428-1700, charges $65 from Piedmont to the Oakland Airport, owner Fred Fakraei said.

Kal Limousine Service, based in Oakland, is open 24 hours a day and offers service from Piedmont to the Oakland airport in a Lincoln Town Car for $40, not including tip, said Joe, the owner, who declined to give his last name. 

Several other local transportation companies provide rides to the Oakland Airport, usually in a Town Car, for between $40 and $55. They include Black & White Limousine, Quick Limo, Airport Taxi & Limo Service, Bassa’s Limousine Service, Butterfly Town Car Service, Limo Unlimted, Luxor Shuttle & Limousine, and Sonnys Limousine LLC.
