Visions for Vacancies: Former Sarber's Cameras in Montclair
What would you like to see fill the vacancy in the former Sarber's Cameras in Montclair?

Sarber’s Camera in Montclair closed after over 50 years in business. What would you like to see fill this vacancy?
Sarber’s has been part of the Montclair Village since 1964 and in Oakland since the 1920s. But a lot of things have changed since then and it's been increasingly difficult for a family-owned camera store to compete with the big-box stores and the e-commerce.
They also had a location on Solano Avenue in Albany which closed in 2011, just six months after they moved it from the Berkeley side of Solano. The Montclair store closed at the end of January this year.
