Weekend Things: Dogs, Cats, and Rooftop Dancing at Lunchtime

An elevator to the roof of the Kaiser Center will deliver you to an hour of dance music performed by Tasche, an Oakland singer, musician and producer. SUNDAY, AUG. 7

10,000 Steps is a new project that aims to connect local residents to the city's small urban parks. Meet the artists and learn what this project is all about at the launch party which happens to fall on Oakland Museum of California's Free First Sunday. There will be activities for the whole family and even free popsicles at the end of the day.
