Winter Gifts From The Garden: Photo Of The Day
It takes discipline to plant a vegetable garden in the fall after a long summer of work, but the payoff is fresh produce in winter.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — For gardeners who undertook the effort to plant a garden last fall, harvest time is here. For Miyo Burnett, that means turnip roots and their greens are on the menu. Her plum tree also set blossoms this week, promising a sweet summer harvest.
