Why Go: The book by Maurice Sendak is a favorite of kids of all ages, and I've heard the movie isn't so bad either. Free popcorn for the kids, $4 pints and sandwiches for you.

Why Go: Kids grow fast, so why waste those awesome clothes they have barely worn? Bring your stuff sized 0-3T and pick up something new at this clothing swap.

Why Go: The sun is shining, you want to start working out again, but how to do it with baby in tow? Stroller Strides will show you. Your first class is free, so there's not reason not to try it out.
Pricing: First class is free; 10-class pass, $150; unlimited monthly, $65
Where/When: Chabot Space & Science Center, 10000 Skyline Blvd, Oakland. Fridays, 7-10 p.m.
Why Go: This is a great activity to do with your kids, or even by yourself. You'll need to buy your own materials, and after that instructions and assistance with your telescope will be available every Friday evening.
