Wood Stork Makes It onto Letterman, If Not on Broadway

Tialli Moya-Smith, Andrew Moorhead, and Zach Piser played southern birds trying to make it in the Big Apple in Piedmont High School's 46th annual Bird Calling Contest.

A trio of poor Wood Storks from Georgia (Zach Piser, Andrew Moorhead, and Tialli Moya-Smith) migrated to New York City and then found themselves scrounging for cash and wading for food in puddles when their song and dance didn't prove to be a splash on Broadway. Their skit did, however, earn third place at Piedmont High School's 46th annual Friday.

went to Caitlin Baldridge, Ausitn Kelley and Theo Quayle for their portrayal of the American Coot.

went to August Grahn, Jeremy Kruger and Andrew Gage, who called the Trumpter Hornbill.
