
SAN PABLO, CA — Four years after the killing, two men have been charged with murder in the slaying of Deon Lee Ward in San Pablo in October 2015, according to prosecutors who filed the charges filed Monday.
Michael Jeremy Collins, now 23, and 30-year-old Andrew James Cordova allegedly shot Ward in the evening hours of Oct. 4.
Cordova stands accused of personally using the firearm, with special allegations for a previous felony conviction for robbery in 2008.
