2 Hurt In Shooting At Bowling Alley: Pinole Police

The suspect in the shooting remained at large Monday, police said.

PINOLE, CA — Two people were wounded in a shooting Sunday night at a Pinole bowling alley, according to police.

The Pinole Police Department received several reports at 8:15 p.m. Sunday that shots were fired at Pinole Valley Lanes, 1580 Pinole Valley Road, Pinole police Lt. Matthew Avery said in a news release.

Police believe two groups of people got into an argument inside the bowling alley. The argument continued in the parking lot where the suspect fired multiple rounds.

Two people were found suffering from gunshot wounds, the lieutenant said.

Several cars were also struck by gunfire.

The victims were treated at hospitals and have since been released from care, Avery said.

However, the shooter remained outstanding Monday. The suspect was described as a male with a long ponytail who was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt, according to police.
