Bio-Rad Offers Local Young Science Enthusiasts Scholarship Opportunities
Hercules High School students are encouraged to apply.
Graduating Hercules high school seniors with a passion for science have scholarship opportunities with Bio-Rad Laboratories.
Hercules-Based Bio-Rad is accepting applications from graduating, college-bound high school seniors for two scholarships, the Ron Mardigian Memorial Scholarship and the Bio-Rad Scholarship, worth $2,500 and $1,000 respectively.
Applicants must be within a 50-mile radius of Hercules and have a 2.5 grade point average or higher. They must also have been accepted to a two or four-year college at the time the scholarship is awarded.

Applying high schoolers will be judged “on need, originality, organization, grammar and personal connection to science,” according to a statement released by BioRad.
Completed applications (which can be found in this article’s attachment) will be accepted at Bio-Rad headquarters, 1000 Alfred Nobel Drive, Hercules, CA 94547, attention Community Outreach. The deadline is March 15.
