Free Face Painting at Pinole Artisan Meeting

You're not going to want to miss the July 6 meeting of the Pinole Artisans. Vickie and Michael Resso are in love with face painting and body art, and kids and adults alike are in love with the Ressos' amazing face and body artwork! Come see what the Ressos learned at the recent Las Vegas Face Painting Convention. Vickie and Mike will do demonstrations and have a slide show highlighting their exciting work. They'll be joined by other very talented face painters, Georgia Burton, Donna Now and Mary Ann Duran. All are welcome -- bring your own models (kids, grandkids, anyone young or not so young) -- get a free tribal design, glitter tattoo, or fun face.  

Pinole Artisan's monthly general meeting is held the first Friday of every month at the Pinole Methodist Church, 2000 San Pablo Ave., from 7 to 9 pm. All are welcome! Bring your art to show - we vote for our favorites and award peer award ribbons. We also have snacks and a speaker or activity at each meeting.

Pinole Artisan members can have their work exhibited at the Pinole Art Center. Members sign up at the general meeting, or by calling the Art Center at 510.724-2008. The shows at the Art Center vary in length, but are about two months each. Everyone in the show works at least three hours a week at the Art Center. To be in the holiday show, you have to have been in at least two prior shows that year.
