It is a sad day in Pinole when you take a group of children to the local park and end up having to come home shortly after. Today we took six children to the park. About 20 minutes into their having a wonderful time two children needed to use the rest room. Although there was a sign stating open from 10am - 4:00pm (and it was 1:20pm) all the restrooms were locked. We had to walk to a restaurant to use their restroom. Then the children were running around and got thirsty. The only water fountain did NOT work.
How can we expect our children to have a good time at our park when they can't use a restroom or drink water ?? Do we need to pack a port-a-potty and gallons of water with us??
We will not be going back to Fernandez Park!
