my rescued kitten named twinkle aka kaepernick
twinkle is a very friendly one year old kitten. he is white except a black tail and a black heartshaped mark on his back near the tail and black right ear. has yellow eyes
i rescued this kitten from my sikh church in el sobrante, where i volunteer in cooking. i was told by the other volunteers there that there was a white kitten there and since i already had two ferral cats who will be 14yrs old in april 2013, that i should take him home with me. i thought about this and i knew my cats were very territorial. and then on january 8th i finally met twinkle and made a video of him and posted it on youtube. since i always carry cat food in my car to feed any hungry felines i fed twinkle a can of duckandrice. he was not like other ferral cats and he let me pick him up and hug him as he purred, and i was hooked. i put him in my brand new mazda3 2013 and tried to drive away, but he wanted out of the car and i let him walk away. i did not see him till january 25th when i fed him again and left a extra cat bed for him. i saw him regularly and could not bear to see him in the cold and hungry at night, so i catnapped him on 1/31/13 in cage i brought with me and took him to the pinole animal pet hospital, the doctor checked him and told me he was a boy and had no fleas and he was about a year old and healthy. so i had him nuetered and his shots administered and i even got a "good sam" discount of $16.00. i was originally going to give him to my neighbor but when i picked him up on 2/1/13 i could not bear to part with him and told this to my neighbor. then on 2/14/13 nite he was run away by my other cats. i so heartbroken, as he used to sleep with us in our bed at night. i have not spoken to my other cats since then even though i feed them and shelter them. i cry daily and picture him in my house all the time hoping he would come back one night and cuddle with me, but my hope is fading. he was a very friendly cat and i am hoping someone took him in and he is safe. my life will never be the same without my twinkle, who was the twinkle of my eye. you can see all his videos on my youtube account under "TheNalini333". www.nalinijohal.com author of THE LIFE OF LOTUS FLOWER
