The sheriff's office reports that the suspect was working under an assumed name.

SAN PABLO, CA — A 34-year-old San Pablo man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of child pornography, Contra Costa County sheriff's officials said today.

Francisco Perez was arrested Nov. 20 and has since been released pending further investigation, according to the sheriff's office.

Perez previously was employed by a food service company that provided food to San Domenico School in San Anselmo in Marin County while under the false name of Mario Arguetta, sheriff's officials said.

Investigators said there is no evidence to suggest any student at the school was a victim in connection with Perez.

The case started with a tip to the sheriff's office about someone allegedly in possession of child pornography. Detectives eventually obtained search warrants for Perez's home and electronic devices.
